MICHELLE MURILLO
Azael Llanos - Great Grandfather, 1957

By placing ourselves squarely in the midst of the past and present, we can sometimes find points of reference, like landmarks on a once familiar route. Through the artwork of Murillo, we are able to escape and simultaneously remain grounded by relating to the work in a very personal way, and by doing so, to situate ourselves firmly in time.
